General Operating Support Grant Program Overview

General Operating Support provides two years of unrestricted, core support for established arts or cultural organizations that benefit the public and are artistically or culturally vibrant. Cuyahoga County-based nonprofit organizations with the following are eligible to apply for General Operating Support funding:

• a primary mission to create, produce, present or provide arts or cultural services for the public;
• a history of vibrant artistic or cultural programming; and
• strong organizational capacity.

2015-16 General Operating Support Application Process

The next opportunity to apply for General Operating Support funding is 2015-16 General Operating Support, which has an initial deadline in June 2014. To be notified when the application process begins, please sign up to receive Cuyahoga Arts & Culture’s emails (be sure to opt in to “CAC Grant Information”).

Panel Review Process

Cuyahoga Arts & Culture convenes an independent panel of arts and cultural experts from outside Northeast Ohio to evaluate and score applications to the General Operating Support program. On October 8-10, 2012, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture assembled a panel to evaluate and score the 61 applications to the 2013-14 General Operating Support program. Reporting

2013-14 General Operating Support grant recipients may use the Online Application & Reporting System to submit their reports to Cuyahoga Arts & Culture.
