Board of Trustees: Santina Protopapa

Santina Protopapa is the Executive Director of Progressive Arts Alliance (PAA) and a founding member of the organization. Prior to launching PAA, she spent five years in the Education Department at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum where she eventually served as Education Programs Manager and oversaw a wide variety of programs that examined topics ranging from hip-hop culture to social justice. She is a life-long Cleveland resident and a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, where she received a BA in Communication Studies and Music and participated in the joint music program with the Cleveland Institute of Music. She is a classically trained percussionist and a jazz vibraphonist who actively participates in the Cleveland arts and cultural community as a performer, advocate, and event organizer.
