Cuyahoga Arts and Culture's grant programs are the means by which it supports arts and culture in Cuyahoga County. Funding for CAC's grant programs is generated by and solely based on the revenues from a county-wide cigarette excise tax. CAC's grants are available to Cuyahoga County-based, not-for-profit organizations that have a mission of arts or culture or a proven history of providing arts or cultural programs or activities to the public.

Our Grant Programs

General Operating Support (GOS)

• Provides operating support to established, fiscally sound arts or cultural organizations that offer high quality services to a broad audience
• Grants are awarded every three years through a highly competitive application process
• Eligible applications are reviewed and scored publicly by an Independent Panel of arts and cultural professionals

Project Support (PS)

• Supports quality arts or cultural projects, activities, or programs in Cuyahoga County that are open and available to the public
• Offered annually
• Eligible applications are reviewed and scored publicly by an Independent Panel of arts and cultural professionals
